No Skidding Anti Slip Treatment
Rodal in partnership with No Skidding provide market leading Anti Slip treatments and coatings for all your floors. Will not alter the colour, appearance or the gloss level of the tile or stone but will significantly increase the grip under wet conditions.
Increases the co-efficient of friction of floor surfaces both internal and external to meet and exceed HSE minimum requirements of the surface when wet.

How does it work:
All stone and mineral based surfaces contain small amounts of Silica.
These treatments cause a chemical reaction with the surface to dissolve a controlled amount of the silica so as to create thousands of minute, shallow indentations in the surface creating a semi permanent invisible tread. This profile is so subtle that it cannot be felt or seen because the profile sits below the level of the surface. When the surface is wet these shallow indentations fill with water, the water is then squeezed out from the pressure of the foot on the surface turning them into thousands of suction cups that act like a vacuum on the sole of the shoe creating a grip that will stop you from slipping.
This simple treatment significantly increases the coefficient of friction and dramatically reduces the problem of dangerous slippery surfaces when wet. Treatment time is usually for only 10-20 minutes depending on surface material and then is simply rinsed away with cold water. Surface is ready to use immediately with minimal disruption and will be typically effective for up to 5 years with one application.
